Ana Lourdes Alves de Araújo has a masters degree in educational policies, Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA). She is a teacher and pedagogical coordinator of the state and federal public schools in São Luís-MA-Brazil and a researcher at the Ilha da Ciência Scientific Dissemination Laboratory (UFMA). She is currently a doctoral student at the Lusófona University, in Lisbon-Portugal; in addition to being part of the research team of the project “A success story? Portugal and PISA (2000-2015) ”, at the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies on Education and Development (CEIED). Her research focuses on educational public policies; public science and academic literacies.
